| DUMP TRAILER MAKES MESS OF 495 |

During rush hour on a Monday morning, a tractor trailer loaded with dirt and broken asphalt overturned on the ramp from route 2 west to route 495 north in Littleton, MA. When the unit came to rest, the load spilled onto the roadway, blocking all three lanes of route 495. Once on scene using our skid steer loader with bucket and sweeper attachments, we had the road opened with traffic flowing within minutes. The truck and trailer were up-righted using a “single lane” up-righting method, so traffic flow would not be interrupted during the recovery. Ferreira Towing responded with the proper equipment and trained employees resulting in quick lane clearance without further delay to the rush hour commute.
